Job Scope No supervisory or budgetary responsibilities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards and food safety requirements. Ensure concessions area is kept clean, sanitary and maintained in an orderly fashion and performs opening, closing and periodic maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed. Monitor sales of items, maintain accurate inventory, re-stocks as necessary, and advises management staff of reordering needs. Observe equipment and promptly report to management staff any malfunctions, maintenance needs or other concerns. Processes financial transactions, maintains transaction history, balances cash drawer and maintains critical cash controls related to the sales of concessions items. When assigned, performs duties associated with pool deck, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, ensuring pool decks, walkways and adjacent areas are free of foreign objects, performing light landscape maintenance, cleaning, sweeping and mopping of facility areas as needed, and disposing of trash as needed. Enforces facility rules and regulations; takes appropriate action in the event of patron incidents. Provides patron services as needed or directed, including telephone coverage. May be responsible for operating public address system, at the direction of management staff. Maintains safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies and procedures. Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings and mandatory in-service training sessions as scheduled. Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR. Principal Working Relationships Works with Aquatics Supervisor, Aquatics Manager and Superintendent of Recreation to gain overall guidance and direction in the conduct of duties. Interacts with other Summit Waves staff to provide quality patron experience. Interacts with departmental personnel to provide quality services and to satisfy operational needs. Interacts with patrons and LSPR employees to foster open communication and positive attitude.
