Job Description:
Create, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOP’s), guides and manuals to meet amendments in law, policies, procedures, and systems across a variety of areas in the office.
Act as Change Agent with implementing new and innovative processes and procedures.
Collaboration with internal and external offices and agencies to ensure best practices.
Identify inefficiencies and antiquated procedures and provide recommendations to management.
Coordinate, conduct and lead various office training courses across all staff levels to ensure consistency and operational continuity (i.e. updated procedures, new staff office procedure trainings and annual refreshers etc.)
Serve as a point of contact during office training; acts as training host; assists in measuring progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.
Develop knowledge and stay abreast of the criminal justice system.
Legal research, compile data and prepare reports.
Create & facilitate trainings related to case management system (PBK) and other systems.
Monitor training attendance for compliance with policy and regulatory agencies; maintains training record; assists with communication of training events and resources.
Identify and utilize various training styles and tools for effective delivery.
Ensure quality & consistent results for end users.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Regular interactions with all staff levels and public.
Prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting complex problems, and understanding and carrying out complex instructions with minimal supervision.
Developing and designing databases and/or spreadsheets.
Support and assist Assistant District Attorneys and their caseload.
Prepare and e-file legal documents (subpoenas, journal entries, etc.)
Assist in case/trial preparation, update and verify attorney calendar
Ability to lift up to 10lbs and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration or a related field and 3 years of progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment, including at least 2 years of lead/training or professional development experience or, any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Outstanding oral and written communication, presentation skills; use of computers and related software applications; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical writing and aptitude. Experience with written processes and procedures.
