The Bonner Springs City Library is accepting applications for the full-time position of Technical Services Librarian. This position serves as the library’s primary cataloger, oversees maintenance of the website, and leads the library’s efforts in delivering technology help to the public as well as to an eleven-member staff. Duties exclude highly technical ones handled by a computer consultant and system administration provided by the regional library. The Technical Services Librarian does work alongside other staff providing circulation and reference help and excellent customer service. One evening and some weekend shifts are required.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited library school is required, and cataloging experience is strongly preferred. Starting 2026 salary is $24.83 per hour with full benefits.
