The Metered Services Supervisor, under the general guidance of the Assistant Director of Customer Care, is to plan, supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the department’s metering system, backflow compliance, and field customer service programs. Functional areas include but not limited to, meter readings, meter repair and installation, automated meter reading, meter testing, and field customer service dispatch. The supervisor is responsible for escalated field customer service, evaluating performance, analyze various data reports including performance metrics to ensure the staff is operating optimally. As a representative of management, supports the mission, vision, strategic plan, goals and decisions of the department and the City. JOB SCOPE: Supervises, coordinates and prioritizes daily activities of direct reports. Participates in the preparation, administration and monitoring of the division’s budget. Starting pay $32.78 per hour MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree, or equivalent years of experience required. Moderate experience with a minimum of three years in construction of public improvements, operation and maintenance of public utilities, meter reading, replacements, testing, and maintenance.
