Johnson County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of On Call Van Driver. This position will work one day a week with a nutrition van driver and sub for three drivers as needed Monday - Friday.

Job Description

The job duties include:

Driver will load and deliver pre-packaged meals to Neighborhood Senior Centers.
Will deliver meals to Meals-on-Wheels clients per route sheets.
Completes required paperwork.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of food transport equipment.
Maintains cleanliness of vans inside and outside.
Assists with vehicle maintenance by ensuring vehicles have sufficient fuel and reporting vehicle operation concerns.
Will assist in other areas as needed.

Job Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. One year preferred experience driving a delivery/commercial type vehicle.

The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a criminal history background check.
