Responsible for handling telephone requests, assisting patrons and performing a wide variety of administrative functions related to the operations of Lovell Community Center; processes facility related transactions, with responsibility for maintaining critical cash controls; assists with rentals and other facility activities as needed; performs minor maintenance and janitorial duties as needed, including opening and closing cleaning duties.
Job Scope: No supervisory or budgetary responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as primary point of contact for department patron service. Assists patrons with inquiries and other related needs. Responds to telephone requests and assists patrons with a wide variety of questions. Collects payments for facility visits, activities, and related transactions. Creates, maintains and performs data entry into the RecTrac System. Maintains administrative records and files related to facility operations. Processes financial transactions for Welcome Desk and maintains all transaction history. Accepts payments and balances start up cash in drawer and drop. May assist in performing light maintenance or cleaning duties as needed during shift. May assist patrons with other Parks and Recreation transactions or needs. Maintains safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies and procedures. Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings. Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR. Performs all other related duties as assigned. The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Must be at least 16 years of age. 2. High school diploma and some college preferred. 3. At least one year experience in customer service preferred. 4.
