Position Summary:
The Wyandotte County District Attorney's Office is seeking a dedicated District Attorney Office Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be self-motivated, detailed and effective at coordinating key elements of the criminal justice process. Providing comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the District Attorney's Office in a variety of case-related elements and victim services with an emphasis on drug court programs. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including court personnel, law enforcement, treatment providers, clients and victims.
Responsibilities:
Case Management: Manage and track cases from filing through disposition, ensuring timely processing and adherence to court deadlines. This includes data entry, file maintenance (physical and electronic), and preparing case files for court appearances.
Court Support: Provide direct support for alternative court and programs including scheduling and coordinating Drug Court sessions, meetings, and hearings. Maintaining Court participant records, attendance, progress reports, and treatment information. Communicating with team members (judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation officers, treatment providers) to ensure smooth program operations. Preparing reports and statistical data related to performance.
Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external partners on process and procedures.
Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze data on drug and criminal cases, victim services, and other ad hoc data and reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and office policies related to the handling of cases and drug court operations. Create Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), best practice and policies for more efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position
