Aviation Department – Airport Police Division
Location: 711 Mexico City Ave
Schedule: Shifts based on 24/7 operational coverage, schedules will include nights and weekends, schedules are assigned by seniority after training. Mandatory overtime may be required.

What You’ll Do:
• Greet and assist customers upon arrival.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and drivers, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any needs or concerns.
• Manage taxi dispatch operations from the terminal booth or taxi lot, ensuring timely dispatching of cabs.
• Provides accurate data entry of taxis and customer information into the computer system.
• Coordinate the flow of taxi cabs between the taxi lot and the terminal, ensuring availability for customer pickup.
• Respond to customer complaints professionally and work towards resolving issues.
• Maintain clear communication with on-site Sergeants via email or phone calls as required.
• Answer phone and radio calls, providing guidance and assistance to callers.
• Contact drivers and employees through the telephone system for effective service coordination.
• Record and check drivers’ time in and out for processing short trips or “no run” cases accurately
• Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRES:
• High school graduation AND
• One (1) year of experience as a security officer
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination as prescribed by the City
• Ability to pass 10-year TSA Background Check
• Must possess a valid State-Issued driver's license
