The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Housing Coordinator. This person will manage specific projects and research for the Regional Housing Partnership and work across MARC departments on housing-related initiatives.

ABOUT THIS POSITION
This is a full-time position within the Local Government Services Department. The Housing Coordinator manages projects and research for the Regional Housing Partnership, coordinates with various MARC departments, and reports to the Regional Housing Program Manager. What you’ll do:
- Exercise exceptional project management skills, planning and adhering to schedules to accomplish project goals.
- Research and analyze housing trends, keeping leadership apprised of best practices.
- Manage and administer the housing network database via the PARTNER platform.
- Collaborate with Data & Digital Services on housing data hub research.
- Make presentations to stakeholder groups and MARC committees.
- Attend relevant committee meetings to coordinate housing work across departments.
- Engage diverse stakeholders to participate in the Regional Housing Partnership.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute delivery of grants and program deliverables.
- Identify, apply for, and administer grants.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecast expenditures.
- Work with public affairs staff to market housing initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned, including travel for regional meetings.

Basic requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban planning, community and regional planning, law, nonprofit management, project management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three years’ experience in project management and financial management.
- Minimum three years’ experience in the housing field.
- Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience may be considered.

- Experience with housing data platforms or grant administration.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Starting salary for this position is from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending upon qualifications. MARC offers an attractive team-oriented work environment along with a competitive fringe benefit package. Employees may work remotely up to two days per week.
