JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Kansas City, Kansas Environmental Services team is seeking a Utility Construction Apprentice. This position involves the construction and repair of sewer lines. Work involves performing a variety of manual maintenance work related to the replacement or extension of existing sewer lines (sanitary, sewer, or combined) and the construction of new catch basins or manholes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED. Experience in the maintenance and repair of sewer lines, knowledge of basic methods, materials, and equipment used in sewer construction and maintenance work. Valid driver’s license. Must hold or be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of hiring.
